Joel and Erica have lived and grown their family in Kerman. They started to attend The Father’s House over 10 years ago and felt a calling on their life to expand the Kingdom of God. With a bend towards recovery ministry they have launched a Recovery Alive here in Kerman. RA consists of gender specific 12 step “process groups”, a bi-monthly “power group” which has gender specific “people groups”. This ministry is for any adult person who is suffering with a hang-up, hurt, or habit. For more information about Recovery Alive please click the link in the Ministries tab above.

Even though the Ureña family do love recovery ministry what they have more is a servants heart. They have volunteered in multiple aspects of ministry both inside and outside of the church setting. Erica teaches Sunday School, helps maintain the church cleaning, and genuinely loves people. Joel is on the SCM (sound/camera/media) team, guest preaches, and is always willing to roll up his sleeves and help.

Joel and Erica are die-hard LA Dodger fans.
